Founder – Stephen Kamberg

Stephen Kamberg, born in 1934, immigrated to this country together with his family in 1945. Third generation in the Food Ingredient Business, Stephen originally worked for his Father’s business, Globe Pie Fillings. Upon the passing of Stephens’s dad, he and his Mom sold their interests in Globe and it was then that S. Kamberg & Company was founded. With $1000.00 in the bank and a shingle on a door to an office about the size of large walk in closet, Stephen began to develop personal relationships with Ingredient Suppliers and then the selling began. Stephen passed away in July 2014 after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

President – Mark Kamberg

Mark Kamberg followed the tradition of being involved in the food ingredient business from his first job right out of college. After a number of years of being involved in sales in larger corporations, where he gained hands on experience in communication, cooperation, negotiation and finances, he joined together with his father in 1990 in order to expand S. Kamberg & Company into new and exciting ventures. Under Mark’s direction, S. Kamberg was able to not only expand its sales territory to the entire Northeast, but due in large part to the already successful relationships with its vendors, was able to include world markets and imported specialty goods.
